Updates on the implementation of the National Clinical Trials Framework

Abstract

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) continues to work across the system to support the implementation of the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework (NCTG). This session will provide information about the progress of the implementation, statistics for completed assessments per the NCTGF, upcoming training & webinars, stakeholder engagement and available resources. The Commission will also share feedback from the recent consultation undertaken to better understand variations in, and outcomes of, the assessment process, understand accrediting agencies challenges and opportunities to develop resources and quality improvement initiatives to help support accrediting agencies, assessors and health services in their assessment to the Standards.
