Biography

Sarah Norris is an Associate Professor of Practice, Health Technology Assessment, at the Leeder Centre for Health Policy, Economics and Data at the University of Sydney. She is the Co-Deputy Chair of the Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC) and Chair of the MSAC Evaluation Subcommittee. Sarah has more than 30 years’ experience in medical research, health economics, and health technology assessment. Prior to her current HTA committee roles, Sarah worked as a market access consultant to the pharmaceutical and medical technology industries, and as an evaluator for The Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care. Sarah has led large technical teams and has shaped strategies to enhance HTA capabilities within those teams and within the Department.
