Abstract
This session aims to raise awareness of the current landscape, trends and challenges on key Medical Information topics, as well as share ideas on how to navigate the changes ahead. Topics that will be covered include digital tools/technologies (with a focus on AI), content adaptation, patient/customer-centricity, customer engagement, and evolution of the Medical Information role/skillset with the constantly changing environment.
Biography
Lee-Mei Pang is a registered pharmacist and leader in the Medical Information field with over 15 years of experience in multiple therapeutic areas and across the Asia-Pacific region. Her expertise includes establishment and management of local and regional Medical Information and Call Centre services, high quality customer service, digital transformation and automation, data foundations and medical insights, navigation of complex global business environments and people leadership.
With extensive cross-functional and cross-cultural leadership experience, she has delivered multiple key initiatives across Asia-Pacific to enhance customer engagement, increase functional efficiency and productivity, and enable business growth through new product launches.
Known for being resourceful, proactive and creative, Lee-Mei is passionate about delivering high quality, personalized customer service and driving adoption of digital and data-driven solutions to help organisations achieve operational efficiency, pioneer cutting-edge innovation and meet evolving customer needs. In her current regional leadership role at Johnson & Johnson as Associate Director Medical Information, Data and Insights, Lee-Mei is leading the Asia-Pacific Medical Information function, as well as enabling the wider Medical Affairs team to unlock the value of data and insights to enhance customer engagement.

Biography
Karen is a registered pharmacist and is currently the Medical Information Lead for the JAPAC region at Amgen Australia. Karen has extensive experience with leadership roles in Medical Affairs and Medical Information in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry over the last twenty years. Karen is passionate about communicating the strengths of the Medical Information function and the value it brings to the business through customer insights and more importantly in supporting the patients who use the medicines. Karen is driven to understand the challenges that face the customer and find meaningful solutions that will enhance the experience for both HCPs and patients. This has led her to fulfilling work in implementing digital Medical Information platforms across the Asia Pacific markets, deployment of customer insights and metrics to the business, in addition to her oversight of regional Medical Information Operations and teams.

Biography
Wenna joined Commercial Eyes in 2012 following her completion of her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science. Wenna leads a team of Medical Information professionals who provide this service to over 30 clients within Asia Pacific. As a team who represents the company to their external customers, Wenna liaises with our clients to ensure that information provided to healthcare professionals and patients is accurate and current. Wenna has represented Medical Information in 9 TGA PV inspections and 1 FDA PV inspections.
With over 10 years of experience in Medical Information and Patient Safety, Wenna leveraged industry best practices and client insights to design, validate, and implement cutting-edge Medical Information and patient safety databases, incorporating advanced technologies to enhance efficiency
In 2015, Wenna’s dedication and passion for her work was recognised with the Commercial Eyes’ Managing Director’s Award.
