Chair: Vaping Reforms and Implementation

Abstract

Vaping rates in Australia have significantly increased, leading the RACGP to state "The last thing we want is a new generation of nicotine users"(RACGP May23). Nicotine patches, lozenges, chews and gums are approved and registered by the TGA and available without a script, yet we have a community scourge affecting adults and adolescents for illegal vaping products. Join with us to hear what responses and actions government, the regulator and law enforcement are bringing forward in 2024, either implemented, in process or before parliament, which will impact multiple parts of the vaping goods supply chain and their advertising
