Biography
ARCS President Arthur Brandwood has over 40 years’ experience in the Medtech field, as researcher and device developer, as Director of Medical Devices Approvals at TGA and founder of Australia’s leading regulatory and commercialisation consultancy.
Arthur remains active in development of new medical technology. He is a Director of Electrogenics Laboratories, developing real-time radiation dosimeters for healthcare applications. He serves as mentor to budding entrepreneurs in the Medtech Actuator, a member of the investment committee of Medtech Ventures and serves on the Biomedical Engineering industry advisory board of University of Melbourne.
Arthur has had a career long commitment to international standards development. and is currently leading a complete revision of the ISO 10993-1 biocompatibility standard.

Biography
John Jamieson recently joined the Therapeutic Goods Administration as the Assistant Secretary, Medical Devices Authorisation Branch. John has worked in executive and senior management roles in several Australian regulatory agencies in the health sector including consumer product safety, health practitioner regulation and medical devices.
