Chair: Building Flow into Your Work
Abstract
Have you ever had the experience of playing a musical instrument, or a sport, or completing a task and you lost all consciousness of self and time and you were in flow?
In this session we look into the world of extreme sports and exceptional performance to find some principles that will help us find a state of flow in our work more often. We will look at how we might re-frame our thinking around a task or a project, how we can create a level of challenge, how we can improve our own skill and how we might reshape the work in a way that will maximise our engagement and performance.
