Abstract
The third session will focus on regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance, which are integral to ensuring that therapeutic goods are developed, approved, and monitored in compliance with regulatory standards to protect public health and safety. Rapid advancements in science and technology, changing regulatory landscapes, and globalisation pose complex challenges that require innovative solutions and strategic thinking by these functions.
Biography
Vivien currently holds a Pharmacovigilance Therapy Area Specialist role at AbbVie. She is a registered pharmacist with a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Sydney. Vivien has worked in retail and hospital pharmacies in various roles such as Clinical Trial Pharmacist supporting Phase I/II oncology studies. Additionally, she has worked as a Clinical Research Associate where she built PV and clinical research knowledge.

Biography
Lucas graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Master of Biotechnology in 2022. During his time at the Centre for Eye Research Australia as a student consultant, he worked on commercialisation and regulatory strategies for new product(s).
Upon joining Adjutor Healthcare as an intern in 2022, Lucas is now a Regulatory Consultant and has supported various regulatory medicine and medical device projects.
He has built his capabilities with a wide range of experience in post-approval activities, licensing applications, device applications and application audits for medical devices, and commercialisation and regulatory strategies. Lucas has a keen interest in healthcare development and loves project management.
