Abstract
Demonstrating compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standard 2- Partnering with Patients has been a requirement for the accreditation of health services for a number of years. With the implementation of the National Clinical Trials Governance Framework, this is now also a requirement for clinical trials.
So what does it mean on a practical level? This session will explore the experience of sites/institutions in engaging and partnering with consumer in clinical trials for the purpose of accreditation requirements, how management has been engaged and supported these efforts, and experiences with how auditors are assessing these efforts.
